Ambassador Mirko Krstičević

Mirko Krstičević - graduated in music theory from the Pedagogical Academy in Split, and then from the Music Academy in Sarajevo. He studied composition with M. Pozajić, M. Špiler and J. Magdić. He worked as a high school teacher for a short time, after which he acquired the status of a freelance artist. Founder of the Split Society for Contemporary Music and the SPLITHESIS project, as well as his own orchestra "The highway to Well family". As a composer, musician and arranger, he collaborates with many rock and pop groups and singers, and his compositions have been performed in a dozen countries. He is the winner of many awards and charters, among which are those from HAZU and SLUK awards. The award of the Croatian theater for the best puppet show, the best show of the Croatian center ASSISTEJ, winner of the 2010 FREE DALMATIA award for art, and the Silvija Bombardelli award for an exceptional compositional contribution to Croatian musical art. He is a regular member of the Croatian Society of Composers and the Croatian Society of Film Workers. He lives and works in Split, and his career in numbers looks like this: - composed 38 hours of music, - sold 3,000,000 sound carriers, - 30 works for solo instruments, - 4 musical-stage works (operas), 130 theater performances, 45 films, 1 TV series, 2 musicals, - 42 rock and pop music compositions, - 165 arrangements/orchestrations, - Producer of 12 albums, - Founded and played in the rock group "METAK", - The most successful concert in Belgrade in 1979. , 70,000 visitors.
